We have the following career opportunities:
Substation Engineer
with 5-10 years of experience in substation design, to work in our Atlanta
office. Experience in the detailed design of medium and high voltage
substations is a must. Yard design experience should include physical design
including yard layout, bus plans, sections, cable schedule, conduit schedule,
and construction specifications. Electrical design experience should include
schematics, relaying, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, cable sizing,
relay selection, and equipment specifications. Some travel is required. Good
interpersonal communication skills are a must. BSEE required, PE preferred.
Transmission
Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in
transmission line design, to work in our Atlanta office. Candidate should have
a good working knowledge of concrete, steel and wood pole structure design,
foundation design, and transmission and distribution construction
specifications. Excellent working experience with Microsoft Programs (Word,
Access & Excel), Alcoa Sag10 and the NESC are required. Knowledge of the
PLS-CADD programs a bonus. Occasional travel is required. Good interpersonal
communication skills are a must. Looking for someone to handle multiple
projects, while continuing to build client relations. BSCE required, PE
preferred.
Staking
Technician with 4-8 years of experience in
staking distribution lines. Candidates should having a good working knowledge
of electronic measuring devices, total-stations, GPS, and computer staking, as
well as how to use a compass, pull-finder, range rod, measuring tape and
machete. Good interpersonal communication skills are a must. This position
requires extensive travel. We prefer someone in the Virginia or North Carolina
area. The successful candidate will work out of their home.
